We are a family owned company. We were at our summer camp as a family and needed to replace our boat gas cans. The family “big brains” ordered new cans.. WITHOUT vents..! Ever try to pour gas in a boat without vent caps? It doesn’t work..! Fast forward 3 days, we drive home from New York to our founders home street again, flooded and impassable. I recalled the gas can problem, left the car at the entrance, ran to my house; took the garden hose and inserted it into the backed up pipes.! It instantly broke the vapor lock and the street began to drain. Since then, I have come up with a device to keep my street from flooding. We can report his street is now FLOOD FREE! The neighbors are thrilled and we have made pipes for all of them.
In the event it rains heavy and he is not home, they now deploy the system. The mathematics are sound, the devise works.
